What better way to wrap up a fantastic year than with great company, delicious food, and plenty of laughs? Our team came together for a fantastic Christmas celebration at Bang Bang Rifle Club in Elsternwick, and what a night it was!
The evening was filled with that end-of-year vibe, as we took the chance to relax, unwind, and reflect on the incredible efforts and achievements of our team throughout the year. From catching up over drinks to sharing stories from the projects (and crazy weather events) we’ve tackled together, it was a brilliant way to celebrate the hard work and dedication that makes our team so special.
A huge thank you to everyone who made it such a memorable night—your hard work, commitment, and team spirit are what make this company a great place to be. Now that we’re into 2025, we’re excited to build on last year’s successes and tackle new opportunities together.

Project Success: Monash Health Laboratory Refurb Complete!
We are proud to announce the successful completion of the laboratory refurbishment at Monash Health! This project, spanning across 2 Levels, has been a tremendous effort, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
The work involved extensive hydraulic modifications to improve functionality, safety, and compliance with rigorous PC2 requirements.
Our team worked with meticulous care to deliver key upgrades, including:
✅ Investigation and modification of pipework to suit new basins, thermostatic mixing valves, and isolation valve boxes.
✅ Installation of new safety eye wash stations and showers, ensuring enhanced safety standards.
✅ Upgrading cold water feeds to support safety showers and basins, with modifications extending up to 15 meters.
✅ Precision installation of RPZD panels, in-wall tundishes with viewing windows, and new drain connections.
This project came with its challenges, including after-hours work requirements and complex system modifications, but our incredible team tackled each hurdle with expertise and dedication.
A massive shoutout to our hardworking crew who made this project a success—your skill, commitment, and teamwork truly made all the difference!

Re-Roofing Project – A Job Well Done!!
We’re thrilled to announce the successful completion of the St Hilda’s Re-Roof Project, covering the kitchen, dining hall, and penthouse. This 550sqm roofing upgrade required careful planning, precision execution, and a dedicated team to bring it all together.
From the outset, this project demanded meticulous coordination, including the setup of scaffolding, handrails, and protective coverings, followed by the removal of existing roof sheets. Our crew worked efficiently to replace or repair roof battens, install new insulation, and fit safety mesh—ensuring a strong and secure roofing system for years to come.
Key highlights of the project included:
🏗️ Seamless crane lift coordination to transport materials safely and efficiently.
🔩 Installation of brand-new roof sheets and flashings, ensuring superior durability.
🌞 Enhancing natural light with the installation of new skylights in the kitchen annex.
🛠️ Final site clean-up, including the careful reinstatement of polycarbonate sheets on the dining hall annex.
This was no small feat, but thanks to the incredible effort of our team, the project was delivered on time and to the highest standard. A massive shoutout to everyone involved—your dedication and expertise ensured a smooth and successful re-roofing process.

We’re excited to share the successful installation of a new heat pump system at St Hilda’s College, providing a more energy-efficient and sustainable hot water solution for the kitchen and penthouse. This upgrade marks a significant step towards reducing energy consumption and operational costs, all while ensuring a reliable hot water supply for essential areas of the college.
Our team carried out a seamless installation process, including installation of new hot water pipework, running efficiently from the ground floor kitchen area down to the basement and commissioning and testing to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
With St Hilda’s managing the electrical connection, our team focused on ensuring the mechanical installation met the highest standards for durability and efficiency.
The Benefits of the New Heat Pump System:
🌱 Energy Efficiency – Heat pumps use significantly less energy compared to traditional water heating systems, reducing operational costs.

UNIFORM RECYCLING
In our industry, uniforms go through a lot—and eventually, they wear out. But instead of sending them to landfill, we’ve found a way to give them a second life!
We’re excited to share that we’ve taken a step toward reducing waste by donating a whopping 50kg our old uniforms to After, an innovative organisation dedicated to recycling and repurposing textiles. 🌍♻️
Rather than being discarded, these uniforms will be transformed into new products or materials, helping to reduce landfill waste and support a circular economy. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, ensuring that we find creative ways to minimise our environmental impact.
A huge thank you to our incredible team for returning their old gear and supporting this initiative, and to the team at @after_anz for making it easy to turn something old into something meaningful. Together, we’re making strides toward a greener future! 💚♻️
STATUS: A SPLASHING 8.7ML SUCCESS! 💦
We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news—the latest results for our Hydrawise rollout integration at The University of Melbourne has been over and above what we anticipated and a major win for water efficiency, sustainability, and cost savings! 🌿💧
Throughout CY 2024, our smart irrigation system worked its magic across the University’s landscaped areas, optimising water use with precision. The results? A whopping 8.7 megalitres of water saved! That’s the equivalent of over 3.5 Olympic-sized swimming pools—or enough to keep a very, very thirsty garden happy for a lifetime! 🌱🏊
And the savings don’t stop at water. This efficiency boost translated into approximately $26,000 in cost reductions—a testament to the power of smart irrigation.
But wait, there’s more! We recently took this project to a whole other level and rolled out the Wireless Valve Link across UoM’s Parkville Campus, which extends the Hydrawise capabilities to wireless controllers, by enabling wireless connections up to 200 meters—no digging required! It eliminates costly and disruptive excavation across concrete paths and driveways while fully integrating with the Hydrawise platform. This means real-time programming updates, remote operation, and instant valve identification, making irrigation smarter, easier, and more efficient.
