Reliable Plumbing is grateful to remain in operation throughout these difficult times, although we are operating on a smaller scale.
We are committed to caring for the health and safety of our customers, staff and suppliers, and are ensuring best practice measures are being followed at all times. We are taking additional safety precautions, and carefully following current government advice. Most of all we are taking care of ourselves and each other while out on the field to ensure our team is happy and healthy. We hope everyone is staying safe throughout this time.
Our latest project is underway, working with a Tier 1 construction company, at the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Sciences (FVAS). The Laboratory trade waste upgrade is part of a full refurbishment of 3 levels of the 5 levels that make up this unique building.
We have dedicated a team of 6 plumbing experts to upgrade the trade waste system using Raupiano piping, upgrade the sewer system for the bathrooms throughout the building and the installation of hot and cold non-potable water.
The project which began in March 2020 is expected to be complete by July 2020.
Reliable Plumbing Services has recently implemented a new environmental initiative. We are now swapping out single-use garbage bags for re-usable bags and sacks to hold leaves and debris collected throughout roof cleans.
This new initiative is a positive step towards reducing overall single-use plastics and landfill in general, and complements our existing leaf composting efforts.
