What’s the culture like at Reliable?

I want to work at Reliable. How do I find out what vacancies are available?

All job openings will be listed on seek.com.au. You can also submit your resume and cover letter on our “Join the Team” page where we keep your details on file and can contact you once a relevant job opportunity becomes available.

Do I need to have qualifications and experience working in the plumbing industry to join Reliable?

It depends on the role you’re interested in. Technical plumbing roles require you to have your VBA Plumbing Registration or Licence, and relevant experience in a similar role. However, other field roles may require less specific certifications and experience. Most of our office opportunities are based on various functions and business knowledge, so these roles don’t necessarily require experience in the plumbing industry.

Do I have to submit a resume when applying for a role?

Yes, you will need to submit a cover letter and your current resume when applying for a role with us.

I’ve submitted a cover letter and resume, when will I be notified of a vacancy?

Unfortunately, we can’t give you a timeframe as to when you will be notified as this all depends on when an opening pops up, your suitability to the particular role and the number of other potential applicants. Please note too that submitting your cover letter and resume via our “Join the Team” page is not a job application, but a registration process so we can assess your skills and experience against vacancies as they become available.

I have applied for a role but have not heard anything, what should I do?

Once you have applied for a vacant role via seek.com.au, your application will be considered by our recruitment team. We receive lots of applications, so unfortunately
only successful applicants will be contacted. If you have submitted your cover letter and resume through our “Join the Team” page, you may be contacted by our recruitment team if a suitable position that meets your skills and experience becomes available.

What’s the best way to contact a recruiter at Reliable?

To make sure your details get to the right person, it’s best to submit your cover letter and current resume on our “Join the Team” page. When vacancies become available, these will be posted on seek.com.au. If these vacancies suit your current career goals, experience and skills, you are welcome to apply for the vacant roles directly through seek.com.au. Our recruitment team will then contact you if your application meets our criteria.

What should I expect during Reliable’s recruitment process?

There are often several stages throughout the hiring process and these may vary, depending on the role you are applying for. Stages can include; application & first assessment, phone screening interview, face-to-face interviews, trial days and recruitment decision.
